International Mother Language Day was celebrated by the Bangladeshi students in Xiamen University, Fujian China on February 28, 2012. A variety of students from 10-12 different countries also took part in the celebration.  The program started with a welcome speech by professor Nie Dening, Deputy Dean, Department of International Relations. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. ATM Abdur Rouf first secretary of Bangladesh Embassy Beijing highlights the importance and historical background of the International Mother Language Day. After the discussion a cultural program was organized by the international students of Xiamen University.
