At last the culinary aptitude of the Bangladeshis in China has been recognized, as they sealed the third place in the 1st International Culinary Competition, China.
34 countries participated in the competition and it was held in China National Convention Center, Beijing. As Beijing rapidly turning into a cosmopolitan, a number of exotic cuisine was seen and tasted there.
The Kuma Group, name of the Bangladeshi team, was consisted of four members, Pijush Kumar Das, Shamim Reza, Razibul Haque, Mithun Das, each of them got a gold medal and a certificate. Dubai and USA got the 1st and 2nd prize respectively.
